I haven't put this book down since it arrived. It has some great information on companion planting and is written in a really accessible style. I would love for more in-depth knowledge, but this book is a great book to keep coming back to again and again.
This book is very biased to the Southern (I think) United States, and focuses on the author's local pests and diseases; which is understandable but makes it of limited use in the UK. Also, the content can be quite random as she digresses at will. I found a simple companion planting matrix online, which has been much more useful.
I've been carrying this around reading it over and over. There are so many answers in here to questions I couldn't find answers to elsewhere. I've bought a copy for my friend too because I've found it so useful.
Contents not as in-depth as I was hoping for... says what plants go together but very often doesn't say WHY, which I is what I wanted to know. I don't think I'll be purchasing her related book any time soon, but it's an interesting starting-point for first time companion planters.
