To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I was disappointed to find that the small straps needed to connect the binoculars with the harness did not fit into the binocular loops. The card that came with the package said to call the company if there were issues. I did, and I was advised to use a pair of scissors to cut them down. I will do so, but I'm not thrilled-- it feels like it will endanger the integrity of the structure of the strip. So... if you have Zeiss, I recommend looking elsewhere. Or-- Vortex-- please consider providing different sizes-!
I bought the harness to be hands free when kayaking and birding, the harness keeps the binoculars close to your chest so it doesn’t swing free when bending over. I thought about buying a “conversion kit” to address the width of the rings on the Nikon binoculars but decided to just trim down the leads and fed it through the rings. Works perfectly. It’s comfortable to wear.
