Dont plan on using unless you have at least an inch or 2 of hair growth. Doesnt give you a close shave otherwise. Use for bikini area is great but wouldnt recommend buying it. I bought one at walmart for 20 less and it works sooo much better.
Takes a lot of work to get even a half decent shave. I move the shaver up and down my legs like the instructions say and I have to press so hard it hurts to get it to actually shave anything. Do not recommend
Product just stopped working for no reason. After jumping through many hoops, including the Amazon secondary seller, Panasonic and Amazon directly, I learned that the secondary seller is not an authorized Panasonic dealer and cannot/will not back up the warranty.
Well I’m sad to report I had to return this electric razor. I was looking to upgrade from my Panasonic ES2207P and thought this would be the one, but sadly this razor is not made the same way as its companion. The razor doesn’t handle the same way. I found the razor to be extremely irritating to my skin and very scratchy! The head of the razor is flexible, but very unstable and feels cheap. The power button and cutter is very cumbersome to move. Overall the razor feels cheap and doesn’t cut well at all. I had really hoped with the additional blade and flexibility this razor world make a great upgrade to my regime. Sadly I was mistaken. I will go back to using Panasonic ES2207P. Be aware replacing the blades are hard to find and cost is comparable to buying a new razor.
I bought it for pubic hair, and as it trims it rips hair out.
Do I need to say more?
I switched to using it on my legs, and it doesn't give me consistent smooth legs, there are hair bits all over after multiple passes, regular shaving is faster and smoother. And I don't have much body hair to begin with! I passed it on to another woman, and she gave it back a week later with a "no thanks, it rips my hair out and basically doesn't work". My husband claimed it for his cheeks, he's delighted because he likes to have a bit of stubble on purpose and it works great for that. So if you are starting with already shaved-down hair like his stubble, maybe this is your friend. I hadn't had a working bikini shaver in about two months, so the hair was a little on the longer side although hardly a forest. It does seem well made and nice that it goes in the shower, but this design concept is a no go for me. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how this shaver has so many stars!
This razor does not work for me. In the past, I used a cheap ($9) bikini trimmer that trimmed closely and gave me no razor bumps. When it died, I figured I'd invest in a nicer one.
When I use this, I get very bad razor bumps. I've tried multiple things: dry/wet, shaving cream/no shaving cream, the shavor/just the pop-up bikini trimmer. I use the slow, short-stroke technique like suggested. What's really weird is that it's not even trimming close. I can't get a way better shave with few razor bumps with a cheap disposable razor.
As for the good: the charge seems to last very well, the charger port is convenient, it's easy to clean, and the body of the razor is very nice. It COULD definitely work for some people, hence the many positive reviews. But unfortunately not for me.
