Very sturdy, easy to use. You can set your own keypad code to access. It also comes with 2 keys for access if you want. You'll need the key access at some point. The keypad operates on batteries with access on the inside. It has 2 holes in the back and 2 on the bottom for you to screw down to secure the safe. I drilled an additional 2 holes in the side to secure it to the side beam of my wall.
There are enormous holes in the back, and the safe is made of very thin gauge metal. It would be the easiest thing in the world to stick a sawzall into the holes in the back and pop this open like a tin can. For just a tiny bit more, I ended up getting an ACTUAL safe that is water and fire rated.
Installation was fairly simple, my contractor put it in within 20 minutes. Very easy to open and close the door with this key, very simple to put the batteries in and very easy to program your own security code.
It seems to be sturdy I guess time will tell, or hopefully not
WOW. I cannot believe they even sell such a thing. I just got this in from Amazon and it is the weakest garbage I have ever seen. There is nothing safe about it. Not fireproof/waterproof/safe in any form. It's a kids toy safe. I could literally break into this thing with almost anything. The metal is so thin you can bend it. The hinge is on with a few tac welds and can easily be pried open. If you are trying to keep anything of value safe I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS as it is complete junk. I will never buy a SentrySafe brand safe again... Geeze
Kind of thin metal, not as durable as I thought. WHY are there holes in the back, to anchor it to the floor? They’re so large that I think they may take away from the statement that the safe is fireproof.
I bough this because it was affordable. I’ve had it for about a month and already the keys don’t want to work. It’s been opened about 4 times. Now my return window is closed so I’m stuck with it. Not happy!
