To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
You may well ask,and that's because there is now the Centenary edition, which sounds like it was recorded yesterday, blowing away the older version.Of course it's really a 5(or 50)stars aarticle, but the the anniversary set is SO much better.Pay a bit more,it'll AMAZE you.
I understand Keith Richards loves this stuff but I have to say the effect of the music is mediocre to me. I don't care about recording quality but I can say that I am far more entertained by someone like Lonnie Johnson (from the 1920s) than Robert Johnson.
Ottima musica ma la maggior parte dei brani sembra uscire da un vecchio disco rovinato suonato da un grammofono... diciamo che per il prezzo si può chiudere mezzo occhio musica 5 stelle qualità audio 1...media 3
Interesting... I know it says complete recordings on the box, and that's what it contains, but there is a lot of repetition in this selection. If I chose again I'd go for a "best of" or something like that
Interesting but dated collection of seminal blues recordings which show how much we've progressed. Unfortunately, after four or five tracks, they all start to sound the same. "I went down to the crossroads/bar/train/etc ... and I la de da de dah" Seem to all be in the same minor blues key - C? One for Spotify I think, rather than a purchase. Keith Richards could knock him off the stage I'm afraid but he must have been one of the pioneers so hey! what do I know?
