These Logitech mouses need to be replaced like every year, but I just keep buying them. Why? They're so cheap.
They're also really comfy and fit my hand perfectly. I tried using a gaming mouse once, it was like holding one of those Beetlejuice sculptures but with built in lights. Give me plain and cheap any day.
I've had 5 of these mice but have to regularly replace them every 3-5 months. #6 on order right now. They start to double click when I only click once. Suddenly deleting emails 2 at a time is not good. But I will continue to buy this mouse because of the L-R wheel tilt and scroll, low price, and compatibility with PS2 and USB connections. I work on multiple PC's with both hookups. It's a great mouse and I keep buying them even with low longevity expectations. It's a trade off with features and price winning out.
Good cheap mouse. I like the tilt wheel, which is easily set for Back/Forward for web browsing, or Previous/Next in games. I wish more mice had tilt wheels. This one isn't the very best tracker out there, but if you're using a "standard" mousing surface (e.g. a pad, or a wood-grain desk), it sees well enough.
I've used MANY mice in my lifetime and Logitech always seems to be at the top of the list in all aspects. This may not be the most durable mouse, but it definitely lasts long enough for the price tag! With heavy use, I usually go through a mouse every two years. I purchased this particular model for the left and right functionality of the middle button and in Windows Vista and 7 it works perfectly.
