Love this player. Great price, beautiful design and plays crystal clear sound. No negative feedback at all. Love the shape and design, it feels more expensive than it it. Came before delivery date and in safe condition. Was very happy with this.
I got this for my grandmother who loves to read but was sad because she is losing her eyesight. I got this for her to listen to audiobooks and was a little bit concerned she wouldn’t be able to see the buttons. I was so pleasantly surprised to learn how easy it is to use, she figured it out on her own quickly. Now she loves it and listens to audiobooks from the library every night before bed. She’s way less sad about not being able to see because her favourite pastime just got easier!
I have a number of CDs that won't get digitized, and I also have a CD player on the computer and also for the HiFi. I bought this for its obvious application - to use portable and privately. It will run from rechargable AA batteries (2) just fine. You do not get a charger with the CD Palyer tho. You'll have to find one yourself. There is a play buffer so it has some vibration immunity. Where it is wanting is in the usability department. The control buttons are black, as is the unit. The function is embossed on the button slightly raised. Thats it. The embossing needs to also be painted a different color - perhaps yellow or white. Until I memorize the button function placement I'm required to hold the unit up to the light at the proper angle in order to use it. VERY annoying. Since this will have casual use, there's little chance this memorization will last for long. If you think you can get beyond that issue, then yes, I can recommend this CD Player. It does the job, but also note that the build not robust. I wouldn't expect that for the price, but I caution future owners to be gentle.
This is what I wanted. However, I must mention that the buttons to open fast forward, and play are all in the same color and next to each other and if you lose the directions, you will need to mark the buttons so you know which button to press. I have to put small stickers on the top so when I play it in low light, I can know which button to press.
We have a portable speaker that takes an ipod and it has an aux input. We had a ton of CDs that we wanted to listen to again. I bought this and picked up a power supply for it online for $4. Works like a charm. Works well with batteries too, when we want to take it to go. Haven't had any issues. The buffering helps to prevent skipping. I couldn't be happier with the product.
First of all, I'm not a company plant. I bought this for myself for Christmas and I love it. it works great. It also uses 2 double A batteries (no cord to lose!). It works with all my headphones and car jack and it hasn't frozen on me. It's a little large, but it does use CDs and it doesn't weigh too much. This was a great buy.
