I prefer the Four Agreements for its simplicity and to the point approach.
Though, this book is more in-depth and does touch on the Four Agreements towards the end with Be Impeccable With Your Words. Don’t Take Things Personally, Don’t Make Assumptions and Always Do Your Best.
The book is a good read, making us aware that the voice we have in our heads, those negative voices about ourselves, the ones that makes us think we are not good enough or those that bombard us with confusion preventing us to move forward are just lies.
It is an eye opener for those not aware of these voices and to make changes to better yourself.
I find the Points to Ponder Section he has on each of its Chapters useful and something I hope I will learn to make a difference to my life.
Life is so simple.......or it could be. Great follow up to the four agreements. I know it is a book I will read again and again and always get more from it. So much common sense, so much wisdom. Wonderful read
I think I like this book! I love some concepts and really do 'get' it as I'm interested in Buddhist teachings and the teachings in this book are similar however I get frustrated as it's very repetitive. I'm enjoying the read however looking forward to finishing, sorry!
