I have a 144Hz 34inch LG ultrawide monitor and when plugging in this cable, although i got a picture, i would constantly get a message on screen to basically get a proper DP 1.4 cable, it was quite annoying, So i ended up buying a much more expensive cable, So this was basically a waste of money.
After a lot of moving around I believe the connections have gotten a little loose inside the cable. When I move the cable it disconnects the display for a short while. Other than that issue, this cable is great!
Does not support 4K res at 60Hz. Supports 4K res at 30Hz but problemmatic. Works very well with 2K res. Note: tested only with ( Dell P2715Q 27-Inch Ultra HD 4K LCD Monitor ) I think it's worth the price.
Purchased to support my new 4k monitor and very disappointed as it fails to drive the monitor beyond 2560x1440. The cable appears well made but the clip is very stiff and the cable failed to latch initially. As such I would not recommend this cable beyond 2k resolutions.
I bought them after searching on the internet on how to solve the flickering problem of Dell screens when used in daisy chain, but my problem still persists. Didn't change much from the Dell cables that were included with the monitors.
Had purchased 2 different cables prior to this one and could NOT get the DisplayPort on my PC to work with my 4K monitor...this cable also did NOT work. Finally did some forum surfing to figure out what was going on and discovered that VESA certified cables are a MUST. So ordered this companies VESA version cable and finally my monitor works with the DisplayPort!! So if you are having issues with a DisplayPort cable NOT working - I highly suggest ordering the VESA certified cable!! So can't say if this is a good cable or not - but the length and build quality appeared great and pretty much identical to their VESA version that is working for me.
Not sure if this is a display port issue itself, or an issue with the cable I received, but there is a lot of disconnecting and reconnecting happening. This rearranges my windows (dual monitor setup) and is rather annoying. 3 stars and not 2 because I'm uncertain if it is a cable issue, or an inherent issue with display ports in general.
