I was really hoping this product would work. Seemed like it would. First of all one of the fasteners is damaged. I can't open it like you would a safety pin. Then I wore them twice and both times my left bra strap came out of the clip. I guess since I am left handed, I use that arm more and that is why the strap came out? Going to be returning them because if they don't work 100% of the time, why should I keep them. You do need to "safety pin" them to the seam inside your blouse on the shoulder or you would make a hole in your top. I just noticed another reviewer wrote they aren't any better than a safety pin and I think I now agree...
These are tiny little pins, not even the width of many bra straps. I found the point too dull to go through my cotton dress material. And you would have to figure out the exact spot to place the pin since there's no give. The reviews that say a safety pin would work better are right. I'm going to try them! I tossed these out.
This product is basically little safety pins attached to a bra strap clip. They work ok as far as attaching to the clothing and strap, but they were larger (less flat) than I expected and consequently "dig in" to the skin where you've attached to the bra strap. I tried putting them in various places, but couldn't stand them anywhere for more than about 10 minutes.
I put the pin side in the seam of my top and the clip around the bra so the clip wouldn't show at all on the outside. That part worked, however the clip really dug in to my skin. I'm a 32F and heavy, so my bra-straps are heavy duty and fit snug to the skin. The clip's fairly bulky and hard plastic, so that didn't work for me at all. Probably works great for anybody light enough to wear their bra straps loose.
I thought this would be a tremendous improvement over a safety pin, but it isn't. I was so excited to see them online, but they are nothing special. And the price is high for the little bit of plastic and the clip itself. I am going back to my safety pins. I needed these to keep my top straight as I have scars from past chemo port-a-caths on one side of my chest, and one in use on the other side. I need to keep these covered. Thanks anyway.
The pin to attach is so dull it wouldn't go through the blouse material. Waste of money! Even my husband had difficulty helping me. After we got the clips on and placed the bra straps in, the blouse was all wonky with puffs, crips and wrinkles at the shoulder. Definitely NOT worth the money.
