It was okay.

The romance was age appropriate and sometimes sweet. It was nice to have a protagonist who acknowledges people's positive attributes. The grammar is easy to understand. Story is clean - no swearing, no sex. There are some violent scenes of rebels attacking people. I would have preferred to see more details on world building and descriptions of the five senses (sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell). I would also like to see more characterisation of the characters outside the love triangle. There's a lot of romance and characterisation, but the plot moves slowly. It would be nice to see other female characters who are just as talented as America.
