To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Maybe I'm missing something, but this book made me want to be violent! The style of writing is weird - it's akin to a transcript of an actual classroom that's been videoed and then transcribed into a script, along with asides and audience reactions.
I just found the book annoying and didn't feel it gave me anything of value. I'm all for reading the real message behind the actual words, and am generally pretty good at compromise and getting into the roots of something, but crikey! I'm highly unlikely to start talking to people the way this author suggests - they may be OK with that in America, but communicating that way in the UK is unlikely to gain much ground. It was also very repetitive.
I endured 3 chapters and then, despite my rule to finish a book once I've started it, I had to stop.
