The Jabra Soeak 10 speaker came up to all our expectations for a joint video session with 10 people in one location and 30 people spread out across the world. I am surprised how even professional TV channels are failing on this: it is quite easy to do with equipment like this and relatively cheap.
In the new normal half of my time is spent online on meetings through Zoom, WebEx or Microsoft Teams. Putting on he earphones for long hours is very uncomfortable. Bought this speaker phone, expensive but its a pleasure now. Audio quality is good and never saw anybody complaining about my voice on the other side now.
If only Jabra could give a setting to adjust the Bass or Treble setting to adjust some voices.
I can not find any product that competes with in its range. I am on call for over 8 hours a day and working from home. It's great as it has good noise cancellation and I do not have to put the earphones for long hours. Once you get used to it.... you just love it.
This speaker phone may be expensive but it has fantastic voice and mic quality. I do not think it has been mentioned before, but it can connect to 3 devices at the same time; 1 USB and 2 BT simultaneously.
This is the best desktop speaker / mic I have ever had.
I have been using it for the past six months with full blown construction happening directly outside of my office. Folks on the other side of the call have not once heard the noise, let alone not being able to hear me.
Highly recommend this. Have used it on OS X as well as Windows.
We used the product as a speaker phone tethered to a PC that was presenting on Zoom. We had in-person attendees and virtual. this allowed us to all hear questions from the virtual attendees without having multiple speakers turned on (feedback). The microphone picked up sound reasonably well in a very large room (well beyond the distance it was designed for). We did find that if you were off to the side it didn't pick up sound as well but that was pretty easy to solve for. I would consider buying two and tethering if you plan to use in a larger space or have multiple speakers. the unit is very light and easily portable.
