How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Fantastically detailed market farming book - centered around organic vegetable growing on small acreage. Book would be 5 stars if it had more detailed pictures and schematics of layout, hoop house design and construction, and better organized data in an Appendix. Book gets into great detail about specific planting requirements for vegetables.

Great book with a good resource list. Not so strong on market side of things but really good on how to make good decisions to keep your farm fresh and adaptable to consumer changes and demands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for mid-Atlantic east coasters primarily

Good book, a lot of details...great info yet it should also include a description in the title as being a mostly east-coast climate-zone book. Us Westerners have very different conditions and soils that makes the info a bit less applicable to our areas.
