I bought this product just before the Covid lock-down and I've been using it for 3/4 hours every day (mon-fri) for more than 3 months.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who needs to work from home or a small single-user office and can use a speakerphone. It is certainly much more comfortable than any headset and better for your ears too.
The sound quality is great FOR VOICE (don't expect it to do good with your MP3 collection...), battery lasts to me for 1-2 days and it lets me connect the PC (via USB or wireless dongle) and the mobile phone (via bluetooth) at the same time.
It integrates perfectly with Webex and Teams on both Windows and Android. Haven't tried with S4B but I would expect it to do as with Teams. I haven't been able to test it on a meeting room with multiple people, obviously.
In any case, strongly recommend and I would certainly buy again.
I actually have the 7510-109 version and have been looking to get another for my wife. Save yourself the extra £15+ and get the 109 version without the USB Bluetooth dongle if you already have built in Bluetooth on your laptop. I didn't realize but with the 109 version, you can connect it via Bluetooth to the laptop anyway and so no need for the dongle version. See picture. Definitely recommend these microphone speakers. Way ahead of the competition. A great product from Jabra that means you don't have to spend all day with a mobile phone connected to your face when working form home. Also fantastic for group conference calls as the built in 360 degree microphone picks up all voices no-matter which side of the microphone they sit.
I mainly use this with MS Teams, connected by USB to a desktop. Although advertised with Link 360, it came with the more up-to-date Link 370 - and this connects and works fine, but USB gives better call quality. Connects with my smartphone with no problems too. Slight negatives: 1) As a plain speaker on the desktop there are delays or corrupted sound alerts from Windows 10 (voice conferencing has no problems though). 2) It would have been better if the fixed, wrap-around USB cable was detachable. 3) If the USB cable was detachable, a longer one could be used, as the standard one is a bit short for my use. 4) Ergonomically, the rear mute button would be better at the front, as it will probably be used most frequently in a call; and the front call-end button should be at the back, as it will be used once in the call, and being at the front it can be accidentally hit during the use of the Jabra. 5) It claims to be MS Teams compatible, and shows up in the Jabra software as being connected to MS Teams, and inside MS Teams all is setup for Jabra. However, I can never get the Jabra call and call-end buttons to operate under MS Teams, I need to call and end via the Windows MS Teams software. I'm happy with this, but will probably go for the Jabra Speak 750 once it comes back in stock.
I used this on my works laptop via USB (Win10 using MS Teams), and also by bluetooth connected to my phone. No install required and I don't have admin rights so that was good, device recognised and worked with teams great (I brought the MS certified edition). Buttons could be used to answer and hang up the call which is all I was after. Phone connectivity via bluetooth also worked fine, no issues connecting Samsung s9 to it at all.
Performance wise I tested it at home using phone and laptop, both sound great, no need to hover over the speaker you can sit in your chair comfortably and talk.....most of the time.
The issues, I got mixed feedback about my voice quality. Sometimes great, sometimes people were moaning I sounded distant. Nothing had changed, I work in IT and run a hard wired mesh network throughout my house with no dropouts so I'm certain it wasn't network related. Plug my old wired headset in and I sound better when there are issues, yet sometimes it's just as clear as my headset (3.5mm headphone jack connected). Then I spend an hour on a less formal meeting and I warned my attendees I was going to be swapping between wired headset, jabra via USB and just using the laptop speaker / mic, I wouldn't be telling them, and if they noticed a change in quality they were to tell me. Headset was never an issue, but sometimes the jabra sounded distant, and sometimes when just using the laptop they suffered echo which isn't a surprise and one of my pet hates.
In the end I can't take the up and down performance, so I've returned and gone for the 710 instead (MS certified again). Too early to comment on the quality of that one but I've got a colleague who uses one and always sounds crystal clear on the same laptop and same OS build provided by work. If anything material pops up that changes my mind I'll pop back and update this review.
With regards to bluetooth via phone, I haven't used it all any that much but never had any complaints. I just don't think I've used it in that mode enough to pass comment in any detail.
Bought a couple of these for the meeting rooms at my company. They work very well. The microphone is able to pick up people's voices from quite a distance away. It worked fine with both a mobile phone and with a laptop. I used it with Skype For Business on my laptop, and after a lot of fiddling with the settings, we were able to use this device as the microphone, but use the speakers and projector in our meeting room. I'd advise you to get the version which comes with the pre-paired USB dongle like I did, as it eliminates all the hassle of bluetooth pairing between your PC and this device, which can sometimes be a bit hit or miss. If you're looking for the bluetooth dongle, it's in a little velcro pocket inside the carry case. Just beware that it took a long, long time for my laptop to find / download / install all of the required drivers - it didn't require any manual installation, but it just took a long time. Highly recommended!
Gone are the days of trying to dial in someone in to conference room and hearing them struggle to hear what is going on - or to be heard. With this little device you can instantly transform any room in to an audio conference room. The speaker connects easily with a USB lead but also with Bluetooth. It helps you connect by speaking to you and telling you if it is connected. Volume and quality are both excellent. Highly recommended.
This speakers is a life saver . As a consultant I need to have conference calls often from different locations . It works well with Skype for business as well as by Bluetooth for phone . I never leave home without it and I’ve had it for 2 years now . Much better than standing round a phone on speaker . The caller is clear and caller can also hear well through mic array . Software updates keep it up to date and you can program quick dial numbers for an assigned key . If you download the software from jabre
Fantastic bit of kit. This speaker is really useful for conference calls with multiple people in the same room, and by yourself. I use it in my home office instead of wearing a headset. Really handy touch controls that allow you to mute your Mic, volume control, and to switch between Bluetooth or usb.
Sound quality is fantastic, and Mic pickup is perfect.
Got bored of using a jabra headset at home for work/meetings, bought this. Directly plugged into USB port on laptop straight out of the box, Windows 10 instantly detected it, and automatically altered sound and microphone settings to default to this device. Skype instantly works with this. I turn it off at the end of the day so it's not powered on over night.
Minimal feedback, but i tend to mute whilst not speaking.
Key buttons (answer, hang up, volume, mute etc.) are clear and easily accessible.
I bought this as I was having some issues with sound quality from my existing microphone, and all of my work is now online. My neighbour recommended this, and I'm so glad I bought it. I did dither about whether to get the 410, without the USB dongle / bluetooth connection, but I definitely made the right decision. With the USB dongle, the sound quality for me and the people I'm online with is fantastic, and I can move the speaker wherever I want and still be heard clearly, with no echo. It can also be plugged in directly via a long USB cable, but I haven't tested this yet. A good quality product that I'd highly recommend for anyone who spends a lot of time talking online.
