To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It isn't a genuine Dyson part, I've had this in my DC14 for a few months now, and it really seems like the belts are stretching out because I'm finding that my roller brush doesn't roll very well on my short pile area rugs, and actually stops rolling on my plush carpeted areas unless I lift the front of the vacuum up a little bit, then it'll start rolling again. What's the point of doing all the work of installing a new clutch if it isn't going to work in less than six months. I'm sure if I bought a true genuine Dyson clutch, which I'm sure is much higher in cost than the $30 I paid, it would have been way worth it because it would have worked for way longer than this did.
