The hole in the middle of the record is not big enough to allow the record to sit on the turntable. See pics. I've tried to contact Amazon US, but as the (very short) return period has passed I don't seem to have that option, hence why I'm writing this review. The record looked fine on arrival, so did not think I would need to return! I've only gone to play it today, and realised the fault. As this is not a 'change of mind return', but actually a faulty product, can someone please contact me? Thanks

Faulty record - unplayable

I ordered this item on vinyl as I absolutely loved listening to it on Spotify, and was really looking forward to adding to my collection of vinyl. However, the record was scratched on the final track of the first side and the second side was unplayable, and the actual record was warped. Amazon kindly replaced the album for me and the replacement arrived today. However the same issues persisted. The record was scratched and warped. It’s a shame as this is a great album and one of the Arctic Monkeys’ best. After looking at the reviews here it must just be a bad pressing. I’m going to be receiving a refund soon, and would recommend someone looking to buy this album exercise a bit of caution when ordering this in vinyl, you may have a turkey on your hands.
A brilliant album, with loads of great tracks. Would get five stars, but it was very poorly packaged in just a plastic bag, and as a result the album cover was damaged quite badly when it arrived. Disappointing, especially as it was bought as a gift.
This is, in my opinion, a rock album and it's done really well. Tracks like RU Mine? have some heavy riffs going on! My only gripe is it's a little flat, I don't know if it's the pressing or the engineering but it should be really belting out the high quality guitar solos and they are sadly a little blended, almost into the background ( this is running on a high end rega tt and high end bose hifi).... Anyhow, a killer album, wasn't too interested in there first couple of brit pop indie-esque albums but this is a rocking album. I'll get the latest album aswell as it seems almost a Brian Eno - roxy music type of record.

Testi paragonabili a vere e proprie poesie urbane, sonorità contornate da percussioni quasi ossessive e melodie avvolgenti rendono questo album un piccolo capolavoro.
Brano preferito? Non riesco più a togliermi dalla testa 'Do I Wanna Know?', come devo fare?
Per quanto riguarda il prodotto, il disco si presenta stiloso ed elegante, minimalista quanto basta: la copertina è apribile ed è completamente stampata in bianco e nero, al suo interno trovano spazio il vinile (anche esso con etichetta stampata rigorosamente in bianco e nero) racchiuso nella sua busta interna, un insert con i testi (che non guastano mai) ed un foglio con il codice da utilizzare per chi volesse scaricare l'album in digitale.
La data di pubblicazione del disco è il 9 settembre del 2013 e ne riporto la tracklist:

Poesie urbane e rock adrenalinico

So disappointed and quite frankly very angry and frustrated. My son saved up for Vinyls he was starting a collection we ordered 5 different albums and every one of them is skipping. We tried two different record players did the same in the exact same place. No visible scratch on vinyl. It is not the record player as his other albums bought elsewhere work perfectly.
