To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Top Marks for making the book readable funny and enjoyable. Reading a dull book always makes learning harder. One down side is they make some wild claims about where 3D printing will lead us. Some of them are great ideas and if they did them it would be great. Others are well out there with Capt Kirk and friends. The technical information and the tips are great and very helpful. Over all a must read for people thinking about 3D printing,
Purchased this to help some people at my office get up to speed on the variety of 3D options that is available today. The technology is still developing and trying to keep up with the new techniques and models can take some effort. I like these 'Dummies' books because they usually condense information down to a level even the most technologically challenged can understand. This book covers the concept of 3D printing pretty well, but just keep in mind that the information will become dated pretty quickly. But another good thing about the Dummy books is they update some of them when needed.
