To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Usually I am not into a compilation book, but this book covers 73 different views of what a 'garden' can be. After a request to my local library so I could preview this book - I bought it! Every page is interesting, every view of what a garden is (or can be) is valuable and the illustrations are great. 5 specific pages sold me on this book and reading through it again I see more useful information.
I didn't find any truly groundbreaking, revolutionary gardens here, but there are still lots of great ideas. My only complaint is that the garden plans are small on my Kindle Fire, and there is apparently no way to enlarge them for easier viewing.
I bought three copies - one for my son, who lives in a city apartment and does balcony gardening, one for my brother-in-law, who is a fairly new backyard and deck gardener, and myself, a lazy gardener. All are excited about the projects in the book.
