To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought the CW bulbs because that what the old one was but probably would have preferred Warm White but that is personal preference. These are brighter (because it's newer) than the old tube I had so the CW is more noticeable than the old one. No flicker. Seems like good quality and the end pins were nice and tight and not wiggly.
Product arrived - box was not Fully sealed from customs inspection- wasn’t properly repáseles by delivery service... and bulbs arrived not functioning. The filament inside is rattling around. Box was ripped and damaged.
I don't have any kitchen windows so the light above my sink makes a huge difference in the way the room looks. When the light blew out, I was happy to find out that Amazon carries the replacement bulbs. Thankfully I didn't have to buy a whole case and I was able to buy just two. They arrived quickly and they were packed in their own box so they weren't broken!! Yay! It took me a few minutes to figure out how to roll one into the fixture, but I got it. Then I slid the plastic cover over the bulb and voila, there was light! A nice bright light that makes my kitchen feel like home again!
Although padded-cardboard-sleeved, bubble-wrapped together, cushioned with shipping paper, and packed in an oversize box, the (2) bulbs did not work. On the first delivery, both bulbs rattled—meaning something was loose or broken in the tube—and you can hear the mystery rolling from one end of the bulb to another with a simple rotate. Bluex was extremely gracious and efficient in replacing them IMMEDIATELY, but alas, the same thing happened, the rattle-roll in the 2 bulbs. So when you consider that the tubes are only 5/8" wide but 20.25" long, it's understandable that 'fragile' could be an understatement; try "delicate—do not toss about on planes, UPS trucks or porches." I'll have to look around locally so that the silence can be tested in the store, and if hearing anything by the time the bulb gets to the lamp, the fault will be mine. I was really happy with and appreciate the effort and quick response by Bluex though…but maybe not everything is ideal for shipping, especially in such a small quantity. So, it wouldn't be fair to rate this product if it never worked, but definitely 5-star service!
These lightbulbs were to replace current ones that were flickering. These new ones do not fit existing ballast even though the model number is the same. The shape of the ends are different from my Philco brand lightbulbs. These lightbulbs are called unique bulbs. I do not recommend this lightbulb .
