To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Hidden amongst the terrible advice, unrealistic worldview, and inability to connect real life with theory is hidden a couple of good random bits here and there. For the most part, this theory is shakey and only applicable to special cases at best and typically is horribly misused, misquoted, and misunderstood by the average social worker and child counselor or psychologist, let alone parents.
This book is basically advice to: 1) let the child have their way; 2) counsel the child; 3) attempt to coerce the child to see the problem your way by restating the problem. The book is just that simple. This is a book for book sales to people who need real answers. This was a waste of our money.
