Had one of these for approx 3 years, used it every day for work and was lost when it finally broke. Begrudging the cost of the product i tried cheaper alternatives which were all extremely poor and had to be refunded, but the bullet and got another one of these. Honestly the best tool on the market at what it does
Great torch however the rechargeable lithium ion battery has faulted and leaked. Ultimately causing the contacts in the housing the become corroded and therefore unserviceable. This happened mid January and I have unfortunately missed the returns date by 2 days.
I've had this light for some time now and absolutely love it. Comes in a very nice case with Li-ion and alkaline batteries. The ability to go from flood to spot is super nice to have and the light can operate in dim or super bright mode. The Li-ion battery lasts quite some time and it can be recharged without having to remove it from the body, the included micro USB cable plugs right into the port beneath the top cap. A bit heavier than most 2XAAA flashlight but doesn't weigh you down either. The build material seems to be quite thick and durable. I have bought 2 for my friend who fell in love with them after he used mine for a few hours.
Purchased this light to use as an inspection light at work. (Mechanic Shop) After few days of usage the light stayed on while charging it. I sent it back and another was shipped to me. The second one worked for few months before having the same problem. It is bright and small however the battery only last 5 to 10 min of usage and it is now useless since I can not charge it any more.
It's brighter the Milwaukee version but has a bright whitish blue light.Unlike the Milwaukee with the true view light. Both are great. This one has the rechargeable battery with the option to use two AAA batteries. Milwaukee only uses two AAA batteries. They are both great in my opinion.
I bought this light for work I dont use it every day and already has become faulty the button on the back never was the easiest to press (maybe I just have sausage fingers I dont know ) I get bad connection when the light is on. I bought this for the rechargeable battery but it doesn't last long probably better off worh cheaper verson that just takes aaa
Iam in aviation industry as an inspector. In my line of work I have to perform upclose inspection of surfaces looking for pits tool lines etc. What I like about this light is Uniform Brightness..it Floods the surface evenly with no hot spots making my job easier to spot any anomalies in the surfaces.
