To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Well constructed, but will not unlatch if there is any pressure on the gate. I was hoping the door would pop open when activated, but even a slight amount of pressure and it will not open on it's own. Probably best suited for internal doors without any weather seal.
I didn't get to install until 2 weeks after receiving the device. It did not work. I disassembled the device and soldered the coil assembly. Works fine after that. There was an inspection sticker but it was probably just stuck on. Get what you pay for I guess.
I just received this electronic strike and see that it came with a resistor...presumably that is to prevent burn out when connected to a high power controller. However, I'm no electronics engineer. So, can anyone tell me how I should wire in the resistor? I am combining this strike plate with this controller http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V55INJE and a keyfob controller; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015DEVN0I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
