There are so many cake recipes in this cookbook! They're all divided into the 'type' of cake and then lots of varieties of flavours within this. The Lemon Tea Cake is to die for. I've never tried a Chiffon cake before so I'm looking forward to trying that. The book also starts with an intro on making a perfect cake with lots of useful tips for beginners or as a refresh. Instructions are easy to follow and ingredients easy to come by.

So many cake recipe book's seem thrown together. I was totally impressed by this one! There was not a single recipe in here I would not be willing to try. Exceptionally varied types from heavy, lovely chocolates to dainty, light chiffons. Not to mention, Grandma's go to, the versatile coffee cake! Nicely done and well explained. A keeper for sure.
