Excellent replacement ear pads for my worn out Bose ones. They are a bit fiddly to install but once on my headphones are as good as new. I found that when installing them you have to fit one side on starting with the oval end first then make your way round both sides until you are close to the other end of the oval. The last bit is the tricky part and will require a bit of patience. If you pinch and pull very carefully a bit at a time you can get the remaining lip in the groove. There should be just about enough stretch to achieve this. I did however retain the old Bose foam are they are softer in the sense that they mould to my ear better. This is just my personal preference. The supplied foam you get with the replacement are still good quality though. Overall I am really happy with the purchase.
I purchased these replacement each cushions based on the largely positive reviews from other buyers. The products do appear to be of a decent build quality and I found them to be quite comfortable. However, one of the cushions began to show signs of separation between the cushion and the rubber lip used to grip to the head phones within 1 month of the swap. The other cushion has been fine!
I decided to give these the benefit of the doubt and blame my application skills (the company are really helpful and provide tutorial website links with the order). I purchased a second set and unfortunately the same issue occurred again (this time within days...). I have given up at the moment and taped the cushion to the headphones to hold them in place and prevent further tearing.Furthermore, the cushion is fine and I don't want to waste it.
So from my point of view, I would recommend these at least once. I would advise you watch some videos on how to apply them and be gentle as i think these are not as rugged as they could be!
Have been 2 hours trying to get the cushions on. The first took over 30 minutes of very careful trying. During that time the inner cover for the foam became detached. I have been an hour and a half and am finding it impossible to get the cushion on. It is looking decidedly stretched but still no luck. Watch the video and see how simple it looks. As for sound I can't tell. I have finally managed to get the other in place, another 45 minutes. The cushions are nowhere near as comfortable as the originals and very quickly have become uncomfortably hot. The sound Ok. How I wish I had gone for the expensive Bose models.
Very impressed with the quality of these replacement ear pads, just as good as the originals, it’s all in the leather apparently and these are the genuine leather type. Worth watching the video as recommended on the packaging instruction leaflet. They are very fiddly to put on but don’t give up they do fit a treat in the end.
They are fantastic, the you tube video was really helpful, though for the less dexterous like myself , it was hard work to get the cushions on. They are, it has to be said, very sturdy because , I pulled them about and they did not tear . I found removing the hard plastic bit made it easier to put them on the head phones and once on really comfy. Defiantly recommend.
Excellent quality replacement earpads, identical to the Bose originals. Have restored my OE2 headphones to original condition for a very reasonable price. Watch the YouTube video on fitting. I found it a doddle and only took me 5-10 mins. No probs whatsoever. Very happy with the purchase, highly recommended product and seller.
These were so much cheaper than getting new headphones from Bose and they sound just as good. Definitely watch the utube video on how to get them on or you may think its not possible. Good sound and fit now. Would definitely recommend.
