The connector pins do the job but it take a bit of patience in order to get the results you want. When I first installed them on my lights, one side the lights wouldn't work, green or blue wouldn't light. It was part my fault and the design doesn't help also, but you can make them work. Here are tips on what will help you make them work. (1) After you insert the right angle strips to the connector clips, I'd advise that you use a multimeter to check continuity before attaching them to your LED lights. At my first attempt I didn't do this ,I dinnt have the strip pushed underneath the pin far enough and it wasn't making contact. Second time around I did and it was fine. I used my multimeter meter to confirm. (2) You will need to bend the pins up slightly with a small screwdriver in order to get the strips and the led light strips under the pins as the pins are tight. When you have the strips under the pins just push them back down with your screwdriver and then clip them into place. I used LED strips with the silicone so I had to peel that off. Overall, its is tedious but they do work. You just have to make sure the pins make proper contact with the LED copper strips. Hope this helps.
I got these 2 connect lights under my counter and connecting them to one power source. Worked perfectly and the connection was seamless. Very easy to install. Important point to note is to follow the terminals. They are printed on the connectors but very dim. Not a big issue but something to check carefully. One thing I did notice was that lights from different brands were not connecting even though they followed the same pattern. I tried to extend my lights further but for some reason the same brand LED's lit-up when connected to their original power source while differing lights did not. Not sure if I had a bad LED or if this is a Universal thing.
This worked perfectly for setting lights up on my tv. The only thing to make sure is that you put the lights in the right way or they won’t work. I found out the lights have to go in a specific direction. So when I first put them together only one section of lights worked. But I took the lights out and flips them around and it seemed to fix the problem. If it doesn’t work the first time it’s probably not the clips messing up. It is the direction you have your light strips
It does what it’s Supposed to do no doubt. But I can ensure you it’s really hard to slide in the led sometimes, Which was a little upsetting but all together not a bad product or price for the quantity,
It did not come with adhesive but it fits 3 different brand LED strips I have. I believe one was a little snuggle but it doesn’t have any disruptions with the connection that is why I rated this product 5 stars. It is easy to install, anyone can do it.
