To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The camera caught me off guard. It is much smaller than I had imagined. Yes, the information was there and it was my fault for not reading e v e r y line. I guess the photos showing it large in contrast with the items around it. As for function, it is a good camera. At the price, it may be a real good camera. Time will tell.
The picture quality is better than some of the other 960H cameras that I have and the night vision is superb. I'm actually getting a fairly viewable scene out as far as 100' from the camera. It mounts like any other camera that is this style and has a rugged appearing body. As my original 960H style cameras fail (they are 8 years old), I will replace them with these.
I have had this camera set up for a month now without any problems. The night vision could be improved, but for this price point has no equal. Works well AC or DC installation as long as the power supply is 500ma rated.
I had this model for a short time before upgrading to the TVI DVR. The cameras on both models were better than other systems I've used. As with all DVRs in this price range, it takes some time to get them properly set up, because the directions are a bit lacking. The seller always responded with 24 hours and was very helpful.
As advertised. I have a mediocre system. I had to replace 5 cameras that lasted less than a year. These units have worked with my system, and seem to be a little better than original. You cannot beat the price.
Over all the camera system is good. I had problems with 2 of the 8 cameras and the remote but both Amazon and Tmezon are working with me to resolve the issue. Customer satisfaction is important to them as it is to me also. For the price of the system and the service, I would recommend this product to a friend.
Decent camera for the price. These are CMOS sensor cameras so the colors get digitized to represent the actual color. CCD sensor cameras cost more and deliver true color, however with that comes more money. I purchased these for areas in my yard that I don't need fine detail. I use CCD sensor camera in the most important locations like the drive way or entry points into the residence. I would say you get what you pay for but in this case you get a little more, these cameras were surprisingly good for the money. The low light quality is also decent. Really cant go wrong for the money.
