I bought a new Smart TV (75 inch Hisense Series 8). This V 2.0 HDMI cable was just centimetres too short to hook up my Sonos Beam so I connected an older longer V 1.3 cable between them not thinking there would be much difference between the two. Bad move. I lost all remote connections with the TV. Moved the Sonos over a couple of inches and switched over the cables. Viola!! It works as I had expected and hoped. Great cables. I will have to buy a little bit longer one.
3.0 out of 5 starsOK for 1080p but not good enough for a 4K signal

I guess I should not be surprised. It was right there in the name "basics". These cables were perfectly adequate for use from my 1080p BD player but when I recently upgraded to a 4K player their shortcomings were revealed.
These did not work for Dolby Vision. I have been experiencing issues when playing Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos content on Netflix and Disney+ using my Nvidia Shield connected to a Soundbar. Periodically the sound would drop out. I was already using High Speed HDMI with Ethernet cables. My Soundbar instructions state I need to use Premium certified cables for this. I bought these Amazonbasics cabkes already knowing they are not Premium certified bit they are rated at 18Gbps. Once connected the sound no longer dropped out but I now experienced regular handshake issues where I would either loose the picture or the Dolby Atmos logo would be displayed. So these cables were worse than what I already had. I swapped them back out and tried a cable I already had and now no more issues. I've ordered some Premium Ertufued cables to try out just in case. So in summary these are good value cabkes but avoid if you need to use with dynamic HDR such as Dolby Vision or HDR10+.
I needed a HDMI cable to extend my laptop screen to my TV, opted for this two-pack set and haven't been disappointed considering the price. Both cables work without fuss and are projecting nicely onto my TV screen. More than happy with my purchase.
Hi-speed HDMI cables that are compatible with 4k 10-bit HDR content and ARC connections between tv's and other peripherals. At a fraction of the price of some extortionate cables out there, definately the way to go if looking for cables to connect your peripherals which are seldom supplied with TVs or soundbars now.
