To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I created a Raspberry Pi portable computer by putting this screen into a SmartiPi case and screwing GoPro hinges into the back of a compact mechanical keyboard. This display is slightly lower resolution than I'd like but it's the only 7" display I can get that easily interfaces with a Raspberry Pi and has an available enclosure for it. That being said the screen has never given me issues. If you tweak the GUI just right on a Pi you can get everything zoomed out and it doesn't seem so cramped anymore.
I discovered a neat trick: buy a Nintendo Switch glass screen protector, it's the same exact size.
Pretty much what you see is what you get. Decently bright screen and great viewing angles. You're not going to be able to navigate raspbian with the touch screen without some mental adjustments (mainly pressing 1-2cm to the left of small buttons to actually hit them), but it should be great if you want to design interfaces with larger buttons.
