To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
These, once lit, look exactly the same brightness and color as the original bulbs in my landscape lighting.
One issue I had to overcome and not due to the bulb but because silicone was used to waterproof the inside of the narrow tubular landscape housing. Without the silicone the bulb would have fit perfectly inside the housing but the silicone prevented me from being able to reassemble it.
I was able to use my bench grinder and grind off a thin portion of the widest part of the bulb casing which was all that was need for the bulb to fit.
I can't complain about the price either, at about $4.50 a piece that's quite a savings from the $9.95 plus tax I paid for one, nearly identical, bulb at one of the big box stores.
Purchased these bulbs after converting our 12v cable lighting in the kitchen to LEDs that interfered with my Liftmaster garage door opener. Who knew that 12v LEDs create radio frequency interference. It took 2 months to figure out why our garage door openers stopped working. These work. Garage opens from halfway down the block. Other cheap bulbs that don't comply with FCC Title 47 Part 15 interfere with the frequency. No comments on the quality or longevity of the bulbs ... I'm just happy to have the remotes working and not burning 50w halogens bulbs. Direct contact with the company was positive. They didn't know if they would fix the problem but offered free return if they didn't work.
