To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Okay, I admit it, I'm an adult and I loved these books. I read the first one and then got this one too. Loved both of them. It's fun to see fairy tales from a different perspective. I recommend the Fairy Tale Reform School books for all ages. It was enjoyable to read them and there wasn't anything I felt was inappropriate for teen readers. Hope they have other books in the series in future.
10 year old loves these books. Asked for them for birthday. Bought the series and kid is glued to reading them and loves the stories. Anything that makes kids excited about it reading over electronics seems good to me.
As the second book in the series, it is nice to see the continued adventures of Gilly and her fellow Fairy Tale Reform School friends. The writing is good for all ages, especially when one wants a quick read.
Innovative, creative, complex -- all the adjectives you need to give this series a try even though the story line may sound like something you would otherwise take a pass on. It's worth taking the chance by starting with Flunked, the first book in the series.
My 11 year old Granddaughter loved this book. She's read the series. She actually brought with her on a dr. visit she had to read while waiting. The dr. quickly noticed what she was reading and got a critique and all the information about the series so she could get it for her twins to read!
