My non-scientific, purely subjective, single subject sample sized, laymen assessment: This shizzle works! Multiple weeks of PR's and increased volume on accessory work. This is a gift from Brodin. Say your prayers, take your Betaine Anhydrous and you will never go wrong.
I was taking the pill form of this supplement before switching to the powder - it's a better value and has no additives. While I'm used to the taste of it now, it did take a few days and some trial and error to figure out how to take it. The powder is slightly bitter. I tried adding it to a smoothie but it ruined the flavor of it. I tried it in water, but it was no better. Now, I just sprinkle the small scoop of powder on my tongue and follow with water (it dissolves very quickly). It's isn't that bad once you get the hang of it.
Nice powder -- they're super fine granules that dissolve easily in water and have very little flavor or aftertaste. I imagine if you put it in tea or juice or something you would get zero flavor from it. So that's a nice bonus! I personally haven't noticed any benefits from taking it, but that's no fault of the product.
This product uses calcium as binder which is not compatible with taking D3 and did result in horrible headaches until I switched back to other brand of TMG. Others use no binding agent or magnesium sterate.
