Things legit. This is made in the USA by a company named Alaska Guide Creations. You can purchase the same one for a few bucks cheaper unless your like me and want that Vortex on the front and the VIP warranty. Not sure what AGC warranty is. This thing is quality. Do yourself a favor and purchase this for your first and skip the smaller ones.
Not in love. Second season with this and I have several concerns to the point I'm looking to replace it and wish I'd returned it when I had the opportunity. First off it's noisy. My binos inside the case squeak up against the inner material. The outside material is noisy when it rubs against everything else. The zipper on the side pockets close in the wrong direction so they don't contain anything that does not quite fit, like a wind check bottle. Lastly it's big and bulky and does very little to suck your binos up to your chest. I'm an avid bow hunter and this just does not cut it for the close encounters of my pursuit. I would not recommend for bow hunting.
I have another name brand pricey bino harness but when I seen this one I had to have it because the vortex optics people finely got it rite. This is in my meagher opinion, this one is the best on the market. It has more pockets and stow away places than any of the others, hands down. It does take a minute to get adjusted and set to the most comfortable fitment but once u get it to that sweet spot. You'll be kicking urself for buying that other one like I am. Do urself a favor. Try this one first.
This is my first Bino Pack for my very first pair of decent binoculars. It seems very well built and fits great. I have not had it out in the field yet, but I have worn it around the house and it is very light. I don’t even notice that it has my Vortex DiamondBack 10x42’s inside. This guide pack was recommended to me by an avid hunter and I will recommend it now myself! I mainly purchased for when I will be out on my atv. It will make access to my bino’s a breeze so I don’t have to dig into my rear quad bag to get them out so that I can glass for animals and people poaching/trespassing on my 160 acres in Arizona.
"Will this get in the way when I draw? I really think it will". NOPE! I am smaller framed guy (5'6" 145 lbs with a short draw length 27.5") I shoot a hoyt powermax if you are wondering what the axle to axle length is. Now keep in mind the taller you are/longer your arms and chest are...The better this product will fit you :). If you are shorter or smaller I believe you may run into some problems, at my draw length I clear this pack with the bottom part of the string by about 2-3 inches at full draw. I have the over the chest straps tightened all the way and it hangs in a good position. The side straps are what you want to cinch down really tight to keep this pack from bouncing. Fit's my vortex vultures 15x56 hd's perfectly! And the elastic strap up top holds my tension release pretty well! Great for normal walking or trekking but I could get the release to fall out at full sprint on a hike after about 1 minute. Holds my vortex 800 rangefinder perfectly as well in the smaller pocket. Really nice quality backed by a really nice brand/warranty. Love this product!
