Ive only had this thing for ~2 weeks but love it so far. You need a decent sized battery, it drains the 1.5 that I had for my drills very quickly. The filter needs to be cleaned often...but that's cause it's picking up all kinds of dirt/hair I didn't even know was there. It's great to be able to quickly clean this this as it comes apart in seconds.
After 2 weeks the on/off switch stopped working. The vacuum is stuck on and battery needs to be removed to shut it off. I will update if/when dewalt resolves this for me.
Good suction. Excellent filter. It works well, but you have to be careful how you attack your dust as the exhaust blows out both sides and blows down at the floor thereby scattering unsucked debris. Overall I am OK with it but it isn’t up to DeWalt’s standards, imo.
Works great, extremely handy working inside. Caution when using for liquids, remove hepa filter might be advised, I got the hepa filter wet and it was a challenge to get the filter clean and dry again which affected the suction for a while. The detachable black hose is a good feature, recommend two or more batteries depending on how many other of the dewalt cordless tools you have.
This thing is great. I would have given it 5 stars but I only have a few points on it that i believe dewalt can do better on. Or maybe not. The only issue I have is with the filter getting clogged within 5 minutes of using this. Mind you, it still works when its clogged to finish the job. It just loses some suction power. If you're using this for quick clean ups it's the right tool Finishing carpenters and service technicians would probably love these
Our early thoughts, having only gone through one charge cycle so far: excellent suction compared to the useless dirt devil that the dewalt is now replacing around the house. A very handy little unit for quickly sucking up coffee grinds in the kitchen. The only downside is how loud it is in the house (you can find yourself starting to think about hearing protection!).
this worked great for getting the needles that fell off the tree has good power. only 4 stars cause when i was trying to remove dog hair from backseat of truck it didnt pick up as much as i thought it would. might be the nozzle and or i need a different attachment for the hose other than that all good
Great addition to my 20 volt line up. Only 4 stars as I feel it’s a little overpriced for what it is, a vacuum... still, good for off small jobs around the house and car. I haven’t tried it on wet spills but I’m sure it’ll be up to the job.
This vacuum works quite well though it is a little loud (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) Even with the noise I would purchase it again because it is a convenient tool to have in my 20v Dewalt collection. You can take the black tube out of the suction cup to use in hard to reach areas.
The filter needs to be cleaned frequently if you get it wet. Has decent suction and is very portable. 60v batteries are a little to big and protrude from the bottom, making it a bit awkward to use the end of the tool, just using hose is usually good enough in that situation.
Suction is awesome! Better than I expected. It's very light. The only possible feature missing would be a long very thin crevice tool. Luckily, both suction tools included are angled, so it's not the end of the word.
