Really really enjoying this for lane swimming. Only use them in the water and I have yet to have any electrical problems yet. Have been using it consistently for 3 months. Get about 4 swims out of it before I have to charge it. Charges quickly. Sound is good. My only complaint with this is how bulky it can be. I wear these, a swim cap and goggles and by the time I have everything on, it's pretty bulky. The ear pieces fall out of my ear or need readjusting regularly. It could be that I need to change the size of plugs, but I also feel like the bulkiness causes the water to pull them out a bit. Occasionally I get my swim cap in the perfect place and they don't move.
If you're looking for something to use for swimming, I would definitely check these out
Update. Unit has turned into a paper weight. All of the sudden it's decided to NEVER EVER play my songs in the right order. Followed ALL help suggestions and there's nothing to be done. It's decided that it will only play songs out of order even when set on normal play. Worst money I've ever spent on a player. I'm so %$^&* angry right now...
This is great. Totally waterproof and reliable. If I could change anything about it, I’d want to be able to up the volume, and I wish the fit was a little better, but after having tried a half dozen cheap options to have waterproof music that all failed, I’m in love with this one. I’ve had it for weeks now and I’m in the water 3x a week. Zero issues so far and I’ll update here if things change.
I had bought the no name cheaper version which was hard to hear / keep in place and ended up melting while charging! So bought this well known brand. Better sound however after 20 uses am still struggling with a great sound / high enough volume. I have figured if you half cover the ear pieces and the back wire with the swim cap you have it in place. But then getting the ear pieces in the EXACT place to hear the music as a Sony would play. I can flip turn 3 times without dislodging, yet sometimes before, after, one ear, etc... I swim deep at times and have no issue with sound. Changing songs up and down while swimming is one click easy during a stroke. For me, if I can hear my music to work out to vs the 'interesting pool music' Im good. So this is a better option, still shifts and needs readjustments frequently, kinda annoying but the others swimming dont get to listen to their own music / stride :) I charge once a week on habit, not for need, its easy, clips on easy and plugs in as my fit bit does. So 3 stars? I would love to hear the deep Sony music with no issues, its better when I mow the lawns! I have downloaded music from all different years so the volume of each song may vary, yet it still is not loud enough on max.
I like them. They are indeed waterproof, have used them probably a dozen times in the pool now and they're doing great.
The earpieces can be a bit tough to get used to, and to insert. Also, there are dry and water earpieces, which you switch depending on the activity. So far these are holding up, but I could see them being a point of failure in the future.
All in all, I like them. They allow me to swim with music, which was the point.
I have used it 5 days a week for 3 weeks with out a problem , I find the sound very clean , it makes my hour long swim a treat being able to hear my music . I do find it a little hard to load my music ,but I am 63 so that could just be me , works great and I do not think I could swim with out it . all the best Jim
I've had my pair for around 6-8 months now, The music quality is pretty alright, it has stayed working fine all this time no complaints there, But the headset buttons will sometimes glitch out/stop working while I am swimming laps and need a couple minutes to begin working again, and if you swim as often as i do (3-5 days a week for 30 mins) in chlorine water your ear pieces will be disintegrating way too fast, I have to switch to new ear pieces at least once a month.
I love this for swimming laps. The sound quality is outstanding considering you are in the water! Comes with a variety of ear bud sizes and I've never had this slip out while swimming. Adding music to the device is a little convoluted and takes more time than it should but it's a small inconvenience in an overall good product.
Yes, water proof! Sounds great with the normal ear plugs, however when using the swimming plug (primarily use) the sound is very low... does not go loud ... I can still hear outside noise. Would have been a 10/10 if musics would be louder 😔
