To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Why oh why can't composers today write scores that are melodic, memorable and sound different from one another? With few exceptions, this score has the sameness of a baloney sandwich on white bread. Bland, dull and mournful. Can't imagine how this show continues to run on Broadway. Nothing memorable here with most songs sounding like the one before. A few comic gems that separate the dullness, but overall a tiresome sameness that lessens any dramatic impact the show could have had musically.
