Don't buy it unless you're looking for something short term. I had this keyboard for about 2 years and it started double typing and keys not registering. Don't believe me? Google it. The keyboard when it was working, was fantastic. The RGB lighting is great. I am most disappointed is the double typing and Logitech doesn't do international warranty either. The double typing affected the whole keyboard and It was just disappointing for such a pricey keyboard.
Both control keys have broken off. I don't use the right one at all when gaming and that is what I use this keyboard for. I only use the right ctrl when using ctrl+alt+delete (so infrequently). The control keys broke in a way where the male pins/pegs from the key cap which extend into the box/receiver portion on the keyboard have snapped off inside the box/receiver portion keyboard. I tried pulling them out with tweezers but I can't because the pin broke below the top of the receiver. I can't use replacement keys because the pin/peg is still inside the box/receiver on the keyboard.
Now I just keep the ctrl keys in my desk drawer and push on the white portion the key should attach to. . Everything else still functions well. I think the ctrl key is too big (or the pin/peg is to small) for the attachment type they used and that the pins snapped due to minor shear force. Both ctrl keys broke within 2 weeks of each other.
Original review: Great keyboard. It has large anti slid pads on the bottom. I use it on a slick plastic desk and my other keyboard slid around a bit. Was a good price compared to local stores ( about 30% cheaper when I bought)
Great kbd. Upgraded from Logitech G11 (best kbd ever) - not used to the closeness of the keys. WOuld prefer more of a gap - I can't seem to get used to feeling around where I need to be for some games. I still use the G11 for a specific game simply because this new keyboard gets me killed.
I love the keyboard and the feel of the ROMER-G switches, they have incredibly good response. Way better lighting on the ROMER-G switches than I've seen on any Cherry type switch. My only issue is; so far I gotten one from Amazon and even walked into Best Buy and picked one up. The wrist/palm rest on both were broken in the same exact way, right out of the box. On each side of the rest there are two small plastic arms that attach the rest to the board, both plastic arms were snapped off flying around in the packaging. Considering the package I got from Amazon was in pristine shape and the one I walked into Best Buy and picked up were both broken in the same way I'd have to say it was a fail on Logitech's packaging. The rest comes in the box attached to the board so if the packaging takes an impact on the bottom edge I can totally see the weight of the board breaking the little plastic arms that hold it to the board.
