To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I stopped reading. I couldn’t get into it. It’s very irritating in self help books when the author feels the need to state her clients stories over and over and over. That’s not helpful TO ME. I barely got to the bottom of my anger or how to channel it better. All I kept reading was how everyone got through theirs. Maybe the author felt that would be helpful but for some people it’s not. I need actually one by one tips on how to manage anger. This wasn’t it.
I had a hard time getting through this book for some reason. What she’s talking about is useful information, I just found it a little boring. I’m usually really anxious to complete books, but this one sat around a lot, and I kept opting to read other books. However, I read this for a book club discussion, and the other women seemed to really enjoy and connect with it.
