This is a comfortable little gadget! I compared the distances against those my friend had on his Garmin watch and they were within 1 yard. The only issue was sometimes the numbers were off the charts wrong, so it wasn't spotting the pin correctly: picked up something way off in the background or something up close. So have a rough idea of your distance. Over all I'm quite pleased. Slope distance is nice since I play some courses with decent hills. Steady hands are really helpful! Nice build quality, feels really solid yet light.
I really like the slope function. The only negative comment I have about it after only using it once is why would you put a button for yards/meters on the top right next to the button you click on for yardage. I hit the wrong button several times because it was so close to the other button. Since this is something you rarely change not sure why it would not have been put somewhere else. Perhaps on the bottom.
Ordered after my Bushnell V2 quit on me after about 8 years of use. Could not justify the price of a new Bushnell. Amazon said it would be delivered in 7 days but received only 2 days after ordering. So far I have used it for 2 rounds. Initially found that it was a bit more difficult to get a reading than with the Bushnell. Maybe not as ergonomic or maybe just a matter of getting used to the new unit. After 2 rounds, I seem to be getting better at getting my readings. However, I am still taking a few readings per shot to make sure I am getting the pin and not the background. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and comfortable with the accuracy of the unit. Good value for money.
Works fine, the more you get used to it. It doesn't grab the pin as easily as more expensive range finders, but I have adapted to it, and I like the slope feature. The accuracy is spot on. Glad I went with this, as opposed to the more expensive ones.
Rangefinder accuracy appears to to consistent and reasonably accurate. I've had some trouble with the pin finder effectiveness. Sometimes it just won't lock on...and chirp. Sometimes it chirps before I even acquire the flag.
