When I ordered this product the pricing said $31.68 ($0.13/oz) which means there should have been 12 packages of 6. What I received was one package of 6 which comes out to $1.65/oz that is a huge difference! I would have never bought this if it showed the actual pricing...$30 for 6 bars of soap is a rip off!
This was a scam. The price per ounce listed was .07 per ounce. I was charged over $16 for 6 bars of soap that are 3.2 ounces. This is a rip off, if you do the math you are paying almost $1.25 per ounce, not the price advertised. Buyer beware, now the only way to “fix” it is to return it, which means I have to bring this to a store during this COVID-19 mess. Complete ripoff.

My physician recommended antibacterial soap, specifically Dial bar soap, for a skin condition. I dutifully followed up, diligently looking for a variety that was antibacterial and fragrance free because I detest the regular Dial odor. Result = a null set. A search for the least offensive odor narrowed to the "lightly fragranced" White bar (one reviewer described it as "like Dove soap") so I ordered it. Eight bars of it. It reeks. It smells nothing like Dove. It smells like the original icky Dial scent with something equally onerous added to it. The odor was detectible even with the outside plastic wrapper was intact. When I opened the wrap the stench permeated the house. It almost knocked me down. Cats ran from the room and clawed at the exits. Plants wilted. I put on my game face and tried it and could not have rinsed away the odor with an ocean of water. I put the bars in the garage to let them off-gas and now the garage reeks. Soapbox: fragranced products are bad for your skin and the environment. If I want fragrance I am capable of adding one I like. Recommendation: try not to buy stuff, or other products with added odor, especially this, um, stuff.
This soap isn't the same. It has the same main ingredient as the new antibacterial hand soaps, benzalkonium chloride. They all leave that nasty sticky residue that never washes away. I stopped using the hand soaps years ago because of it. When you wash your hands you feel like you need to wash them again because you do, with a different soap because there is a film left on them that keeps making bubble when you rub your hands together after you rinse.
There is no such thing as antibacterial Dial or other soaps anymore since the FDA stopped the soaper makers from using triclosan and triclocarban. Soooo Ima guess this was stock piled BEFORE the ban. Hmmm.
FYI soap and water ...with no crazy chemicals, removes just as much bacteria as stuff advertised as anti bacterial. Bought this pre surgery for a pre surgery bath along with that doc recommened antimicrobial pink stuff...name forgotten. But had so many bars after went on to continue to use them. HORRIBLE things have happened to our hands with all the frequent handwashing we do here, including skinning peeling away from fingers! EEEK..and not this is not OVERWASHED dry hand sydrome. So whatever chemical is in this soap, is just plain skin unfriendly evil.
Went back to REGULAR good old fashioned plain jane and goat milk soaps and no problems with skin peeling. Now you have to think about this, if this is happening on HANDS..um....do you really want that happening on OTHER body parts. SKIP THIS PRODUCT unless you need to do something like a one time pre surgery shower.
Bought this during the early start of the Pandemic. I find the soap cracks lengthwise very quickly. The other very odd aspect is it retains dirt! The dirt clings to the soap - hold it under water and it doesn't rinse away! No grease, nor anything unusual but when the soap is used as hand soap, the soap holds on to the dirt, doesn't rinse off, and looks disgusting. I wld only purchase this as an absolute emergency with no other soap under the sun available.
