Can't beat the price on this bino harness. Yes, the straps don't have the extra padding that other brands have. But for under $50, you can't beat it. Just note that the side pockets and rear zippered pocket are tight and small. Touch to fit many items into these spaces. I slip my knife onto one of the straps and my rangefinder onto the other. Works perfectly. All my other gear goes into pockets or my pack. Fits my 10X42 Vortex Diamondbacks easily.
I ordered this to use with the binoculars I had--I measured them and compared the item measurements before buying only to find out that the inside (the important measurements) were way different. I would say the inside dimensions are 2.5"D X 6"W X 6"H (a little less). I ended up having to buy new binoculars to fit in the case--the ones I just purchased are 2.5 X 5 X 5.7 (I really wouldn't go any bigger).
I got this case, but didn't realize its for compact binoculars. Check the measurements then measure your binoculars. Really nice case, light weight and fits 8 power compacts may a small 10 power. But I needed it to fit my 10x50s and it was too small for it. Maybe if it were a newer pair, that seem skinnier may work. If it were a bit bigger, they'd be a great pair of binocular holders.
