They fit well, but are not entirely as the photo shows. Once the skins is fitted there is still a white edge on the front of the camera. The photos above show the edge as black, but that isn’t the case, the camera case is white. So when you look at the camera you see a white ring around the face. This seems to be a problem shared with the genuine arlo skins and the aftermarket ones too. I also notice the camera picks up the edge of the lens hood to, so you're picture become vignetted by the cover. I've also found that the 'hood' around the front of the camera affects the IR night vision; in that the hood seems to reflect the IR back at the camera lens, so you get a washed out flare effect on the lens, rather than a crisp black and white IR image. To resolve this, I've cut back the hood to within about 5mm of the camera body all the way round the front.
Bought these to make my Arlo Pro 2 cameras less noticeable on the front/rear of the house. That worked as expected.
The unexpected consequence of these hooded skins is that they cause IR reflection at night resulting in your camera pictures being foggy. These covers are not fit for purpose and I am surprised Netgear are still selling them.
I shall look at returning for a refund and replace with skins without the hooded element.
These items seem to be well made but I would caution you: the hood interferes with night vision filming so if you rely on your camera for night vision DO NOT purchase these covers or if you did, you will have to cut the hood off yourself. Disappointing and considering they are made by the camera's manufacturer I would expect them to have known that.
720 sucks and I'm getting 1 bar less than 30 feet away from unit. I would have returned, but didn't notice issues until much later. 6 month charging time is a lie. Also, there is a delay from the unit regarding motion. If someone ran past it wouldn't go on. I think the delay is like 3 seconds?
I wanted wireless, but the tech isn't there yet. if I could buy again I would go Nest for 1080 or find a unit that does 4k.
Can't even get a license plate from ~20 feet away. Basically useless.
