I have always liked the Walkman range, especially for the adjustments you can make by Clear Audio, the VPR and the Equaliser. These functions work well with wired headphones but do not work with any wireless headphones. You can hear the sound ok but cannot adjust it, only the volume. This seems really bad considering I bought Sony's most expensive wireless headphones to use with the NW A35. Apart from this, the unit is really good with very clear sound and not overwhelming bass. The touchscreen is very useful and the menu is easier to use over the NWZ A15 (which I also own.) The inclusion of a micro SD card slot means up to 200GB can be used to save tunes etc. That is a very good feature for me as I have a large collection. One final niggle is that there is no dedicated Audiobook App or Wi-Fi. If it had the latter it would be perfect as the Audible App could be downloaded and also Sony's sound utility could overcome the wireless headphones deficiency. Despite the niggles, I am very pleased with the unit.and the earpods are quite good at noise cancelling.
