Instructions were useless so I contacted their support... even less help! Told me to look on You Tube (had tried that!)
I am still none the wiser so will have to pack it all up and return and find an alternative.
Highly recommend the company look at their customer support as very poor, they don’t seem to know the products at all.

It worked great when I first tried it but after leaving it plugged in on passthrough without actually streaming and only having actually used it a couple of times it's dead, no power and no passthrough.

What's worse is support on their site doesn't exist because you can't submit a support ticket without selecting a "Product" but there are no products to select in the form field and you can't manually type one in. So absolutely NO service from them.

A nearly $200 paperweight. Absolute garbage and I can't do anything about it.

Desafortunadamente tuve una muy mala experiencia con éste producto. El envío muy bien (como siempre por parte de Amazon), el producto físicamente se ve de buena calidad (mucho mejor que la Live Gamer Portable original). Sin embargo, el producto no cumplía con nada.

El programa RECentral4 es un caos. En una escena con sólo la capturadora se ve bien, en otra con sólo la cámara se ve bien, te cambias a otra escena de capturadora con cámara y te bloquea la cámara, argumentando que está ocupada con otro programa. Después de prueba y error (ya que en AVerMedia no dicen nada) resulta que RECentral toma la cámara como entrada de video, la cual está ocupada con la capturadora. Además, RECentral se cierra sin previo aviso a cada rato. Cabe resaltar que cuento con una computadora que rebasa por mucho los requisitos de la capturadora, tanto en procesador, memoria y GPU, así que no es un problema de especificaciones. Simplemente es imposible utilizar la capturadora con RECentral, no dura ni 10 minutos grabando, por lo que mucho menos sirve para transmitir en vivo.

Al utilizarla con OBS la capturadora no registra audio, sólo la cámara. Nuevamente después de prueba y error por el nulo soporte de AVerMedia, resulta que la capturadora lleva el audio por un componente de micrófono propio, por lo cual hay que dar de alta un micrófono de LGP2Plus para que registre audio.

La grabación de video, tanto en RECentral4 como en OBS se ve atorada y con brincos, nunca da una buena calidad de 60 fps, incluso se ve por debajo de 30 fps.

Por si todo lo anterior no fuera poco, el video tanto en grabación como en transmisión en vivo tiene lapsos de nula calidad. Pueden ver muestra en YouTube: watch?v=T1kYk9WIf0o

Tengo desde hace 3 años la Live Gamer Portable original y compré éste modelo como una mejora, pero siendo honestos no sirve para nada, ni para grabar ni para transmitir. Me gustaría pensar que recibí un producto con fallos, pero después del pésimo rendimiento que ofrece prefiero quedarme con mi capturadora vieja. Hice la devolución a Amazon y solicité mi reembolso, todo se solucionó sin problemas.

Quattro mesi fa avevo acquistato il Game Capture II. Sin dal primo utilizzo avevo notato stranezze. In particolare, l’ingresso microfonico aveva funzionato una sola volta. All’improvviso, poi, le porte HDMI avevano di funzionare. Prima la porta in ingresso registrava a scatti, poi quella in uscita non trasmetteva più il segnale.
Dietro consiglio di AverMedia, quindi, ho restituito il prodotto e ne ho acquistato uno differente, questo Live Gamer Extreme 2 (LGX2).
A me sembra un salto indietro rispetto l’altro prodotto. Niente più ingressi analogici, niente più possibilità di utilizzo senza un PC. Che dire della latenza? La voce del microfono arriva dopo quasi 10 secondi! Altro che “latenza vicina allo zero”. Non permette di fare stream né di registrare, se si vuole utilizzare la propria voce. Ho provato sia utilizzando un microfono USB (il Trust GXT 212) che tre microfoni analogici collegati alla scheda audio (una Sound Blaster AE-7).
Il software nativo, “RECentral”, manca di alcune icone e scritte. Per tentar di configurarlo, ho dovuto cliccare a casaccio, finché ho trovato le voci che volevo. Il suo mixer permette di ascoltare o disattivare l’anteprima di ciò che si va a registrare. Purtroppo, però, se si disattiva l’anteprima, non registra niente. Che dire del microfono? Oltre al ritardo di quasi 10 secondi, quando si attiva l’anteprima, si sente un rumore di sottofondo eccessivo. Il volume va diminuito per non sentire il rumore, ma poi si deve diminuire il volume del sistema, se si vuole miscelare nella registrazione o nello stream voce microfonica e suoni del PC. E qui ho trovato un altro problema. Quando avvio un videogioco, anche se l’audio è funzionante, con o senza l’anteprima, il programma smette di registrare i suoni. Registra soltanto le immagini.
Un altro problema riguarda il tasto F7. È utilizzato da RECentral per iniziare e terminare la registrazione; ma lo stesso tasto può essere configurato all’interno di un videogioco. Di conseguenza, funziona soltanto se RECentral è in primo piano (ma a questo punto, non basterebbe cliccare sull’icona dedicata alla registrazione?).
Per fortuna è presente “PowerDirector 15” (peccato che non sia la nuova versione 17). Sono presenti alcune limitazioni, comunque è possibile elaborare un video. Resta un problema: se non è stato registrato l’audio, sarà ancora valido il video acquisito?

Per chi volesse questo strumento, tenga presente che è richiesta una porta USB 3.x. Non si possono utilizzare porte USB 1/2. Nella pagina ufficiale dello LGX2 è presente un programma per testare il proprio PC. Secondo questo programma, però, il mio computer, pur essendo perfetto grazie alle sue porte USB 3.x, non sarebbe compatibile perché supporterebbe nessuna risoluzione video! A quanto pare la ragione è legata al fatto che ho una RX 590, mentre AVerMedia consiglia l’utilizzo di una scheda video NVIDIA.
Al momento sto aspettando risposta da parte di AVerMedia per i problemi che ho rilevato. Se non riceverò una risposta soddisfacente, sarò costretto a restituire anche questo prodotto, e mi rivolgerò a un altro produttore. Due prodotti su due, finora, sembrano aver fatto cilecca.

気をつけるべき点はまずこの商品が正規代理店による販売ではないので、日本国内でサポートが受けられません。
万が一不良があったとしても返品か泣き寝入りをすることになります。
また、海外向けの仕様の製品であるためか色々調べましたがドライバが上手く噛み合っていないようなログを残して動作しません(詳しくは分かりませんがドライバを正しくインストールしたにも関わらずドライバをnullを参照した後動作に失敗している、ドライバインストール後に再起動してもダメ、ハブに挿していたのをやめて直接PCにつなげたり別のUSBポートに差したりしても動かない)。
海外向けなので内部の仕様が違うのかと思い、説明書に記載されている海外のAVerMedia公式サイトからドライバをダウンロードしインストールしても使えませんでした。もしくはそもそも何らかの理由で初期不良が多いのかもしれません。
システムなど詳しいところは分かりませんが、少なくともあと4000円程度の追加で正規代理店による保証付きの商品(GC550 PLUS)が手に入るのでそちらをお勧めします。
※GC550 PLUSは日本国内におけるGC551の型番であり、同製品です。

So here is the thing, I have read a decent amount of reviews saying this card is not the best, but more recent reviews did say they have improved some things so I decided to give it a chance if it goes on sale.

Here is my issue with the product, the "manual" is not really a manual but a collection of different languages, really all it does is improve your awareness of different countries.
I have my PC set up for streaming and this is the first time I have a capture card so in my case I need some help setting it up along with my streamlabs and general set up, there is a youtube channel but I have seen 10 year olds make better instructional video's. They are about 1-2 min long and for this specific card are useless, so you have to look on youtube for something to help you out which in this cards case its rare and mostly for PS4.

Anyway I havent even got to a point of trying to use this card since I struggle setting up proper with streamlabs so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone for that money and would return it gladly if I could, add an extra $$ and get an Elgato since you will have to use Elgato video's to try and set up the AverMedia anyway.

La compre pensando que seria facil de instalar y de configurar, pero mi asombro vino cuando no detectaba el driver y a la hora de instalarlo desde la pagina de avermedia no lo reconocia. miranado el reddit comprobe que avermedia no actualiza regualarmente sus controladores ya que por el ejemplo el ultimo lo saco en junio para w10 19.09 y ya estaba la 20H2 y por lo cual no funciona en mi equipo . algo menos de 1 año para sacar el driver compatible con la version de windows lo cual te deja sin usarla

no la recomiendo si tienes una TV 4K HDR.... si bien si te pasa el 4k a tu tv, el HDR NOOO... por lo tanto baja notablemente la calidad de imagen con la que juegas en tu tv.

esta capturadora la pensaba usar para hacer Stream (youtube, facebook, etc.)
es algo enredosa, poco flexible... te pide instalar un programa el "original de la capturadora AVERMEDIA" este programa está chafita ...y al momento de querer transmitir en OBS sí te jala la imagen pero el audio NO ...además el chat de grupo no se escucha al momento de streamear.... yo les aconsejaría meter en el manual o en su página oficial LINKS de yotube donde te expliquen como usar esta capturadora en OBS de la forma más ideal... cómo usar esta capturadora para guardar clips , etc. etc. ... NO LA VOLVERÍA A COMPRAR .

Received product and it looked like open box. it worked a few times but then stopped working, wouldn't go into recording mode.
Also Instructions were pretty much nil had to search internet to even figure out how to work this unit.
After taking it up north to give it a try it wouldn't work, so I went to best buy in north bay to try another unit. it was even cheaper then amazon was charging. Then I found out it may have been missing a cable as the new one I just got had two HDMI cables. It also worked flawlessly.
