To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I’ve tried more than half the recipes and have loved every one of them! Excellent purchase, highly recommend. The freezing instructions are so simple to follow. The flavour of the food is delicious. Just love this book!
This isn't really what I was expecting. I was hoping to find great recipes that you could make ahead of time (like on a Sunday) and then freeze in separate containers and eat throughout the week. I know some fruits and vegetables don't freeze well so I was hoping for a compilation of the best recipes you can freeze. Instead, this has lots of recipes where you make half of the recipe, freeze it, and then finish the recipe when you're ready to eat it. I don't really get the point of that. Perhaps I didn't read the description well enough.
The recipes are great, and this is probably the best organization I have ever seen in a cookbook. The recipes clearly state in the instructions where to stop if freezing the meal. Then, under each recipe there are freezer instructions and instructions for preparing the food from the freezer. I have been a fan of the authors since they started their blog, and I will continue as a loyal follower through this book.
UPDATE: based on this book, I started a freezer meal club with four other friends. We have been going strong for six months now. I made jambalaya this month, and it is a great recipe.
