Ordered this after returning the Fiio M9 for Having no battery life. The fiio was so complicated to use compared to this H2 player. Now as for this player, I received it next day, almost fully charged, plugged my sd card in, and there was my music collection. Pressed play and I was off. That’s what I expect, no formatting or other nonsense that I don’t understand. I’m useless with computers and I love this little player. Sound is hifi quality through my home stereo( B&W 602s3’s speakers,Nad amp) crisp and clear , lovely vocals, tight deep precise bass. Same through my beyer headphones, and goes very loud. Has gain option for almost twice the volume, gap less playback, and a separate line out for connection to a stereo or car aux. Receives and transmits blue tooth at high quality too. All the things I need are on this player. No WiFi no hassle no bullsh#t. Easy to use, sounds hifi, goes louder than you will ever need it to go, and you can make the screen letters bigger which is handy as the screen is very small. Very pleased with this tiny player, a case will be needed tho due to its shiny bits. In all a well built machine, good battery life, easy to transfer music to and easy to use, and sounds great through whatever you listen to it on and whatever you listen to. Amazon service top notch as usual. Also the in ear buds that come with it really are good high quality sounding in ear headphones. Iv bought 3 pairs the last 2 years, all over £60, all are either uncomfortable, sound awful, or a combination of the two. These are my best yet and they’re free. Bonus
I broke my old sony MP3 player. So I got this H2 Walker. The sound is so good. Clear sounds. The H2 walker can go really loud without any distortion. I recommend using these with good set of ear/headphones. H2 Walker has much better sound than any phone. The line out port is good for decent HI players or surround systems.
H2 Walker looks good. Easy to use and to navigate all the options and settings. Simple to load songs onto. All you do is drag and drop from the computer.
Plus the walker comes with 16gb card and earphones with spare buds.
This is a well built little player that sounds great, it's so easy to use when compared to the big names and sounds far better when paired with high quality ear phones. It's solidly made and works smoothly. In fact far better than it's big name rivals and at a fraction of the price. You won't be disappointed, trust me.My music all sounds fresh and new again , all I need now is more time to enjoy it! https://youtu.be/WZXyALRDd_A
I wanted something to store a substantial part of my CD collection after ripping it to FLAC. Lots of players are limited to MP3 but this reads all common formats. It is very very tiny, the photos do not give a real impression, it is much smaller, though thicker, than a smartphone. The solid metal case is really beautiful, the whole thing is a joy to handle and look at. I find it difficult to get my head around the completeness of its facilities, set-up, blue tooth and display of album art etc etc. The audio quality is excellent and scrolling and searching easy, though the scroll wheel is not as smooth as some, perfectly acceptable but just lacks a little finesse. My only negative is that the battery is not replaceable, a pity for such a nicely made unit. I use it to feed a Cambridge Audio 100W +100W power amp and the output is more than adequate, even when set to low. As a bonus now I can carry as many CDs as I might ever want wherever I go. The manual is not the usual mangled Chinese English but actually clearly written and comprehensive - access via QR code. The only addition which would make it perfect would be a remote smart-phone app.
Small, solid and easy to use. Used as a portable to begin with, the sound quality of .dsf (SACD) tracks, using the supplied headphones, was spectacular. Intrigued, I plugged it into my main system (Linn Aktiv Keltiks) and was gobsmacked. It has now replaced my Oppo 103 player for digital and in some instances, used in preference to my LP12. It sounds more like good analogue than digital.
Music used. Pink Floyd - DSOTM Pink Floyd - WYWH Genesis - Selling England By The Pound Roxy Music - Avalon The Doobie Brothers - What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits
All discs were ripped with Sony Playstation. Highly recommended player at cheap as chips price.
An astonishing piece of kit. The clarity, detail, and depth of sound evokes memories of expensive hi-fi auditions, and all this through the supplied headphones. It is a well balanced, high quality sound that allows you pick out details you would not normally hear. The bass is hugely powerful yet perfectly controlled. Highly recommended
I have had a sony walkman for years which had excellent sound quality, (and buttons), however it started to play up from wear. I looked at purchasing a replacement sony but the new models are touch screen control as with a lot of other brands, after a lot of searching and reading reviews including youtube videos I opted for the HiFi Walker. The build quality is solid, it is a metal cast body and is easy to pick up and hold (not likely to slip through your hands), the screen is high res quality, the sound from this player knocks my sony for six, you can clearly hear every instrument playing on tracks that you can't on other players. One of the best feature for me on this device is the controls, (no touch screen, brilliant) every function is by using the push buttons & scroll wheel, you don,t need to look at the device to skip tracks, pause/play, volume control, great for holidays in the sun. I have Bose noise cancelling in ear phones which brings out much more from this device, the sound is amazing. Overall I recommend buying this player, I bought from HIFI Walkers, no problems from this seller * * * * *
