To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Granted, the price was really low, so I shouldn't complain, and the two I've installed so far are working, but I had to spend 10 minutes fixing one of the two I used. The spring loaded clip that accepts the post from the GU5.3 light bulb is very thin metal, and on one the top wasn't properly bent, so I couldn't get the light bulb post to insert - instead it just began crushing the metal clip. I had to take the piece apart and use tweezers to adjust the spring and re-bend the clip. Probably should have just used another one but I'd already soldered it into place. Bottom line - they cost 80 cents apiece for a 10-pack - that's incredibly inexpensive. If a couple aren't perfect I probably shouldn't complain, but so far I'm only at 50%.
This project was for my BBQ area the goose neck lamp which was discontinued years ago finally burnt out. I could not fine a bulb any where. so with this socket I was able to convert this halogen light into an Led light. I wired it to a 12v transformer and switched it on. good product
