To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have all these Cramps (supposedly) influence collections, and I didn't agree when somebody reviewing one of the early ones said it was time to "put this tired franchise to rest"...nor do I now. This one, though, has the largest array of stuff that is very far from the Lux and Ivy aesthetic. It is undeniably amusing, and some of the songs ("Johnny Get Angry" by Shelley Fabares") provoked high school nostalgia, but very, very few were anything one could remotely imagine the Cramps playing. I ordered it because Roots & Rhythm recommended it, but they like all sorts of old stuff. I specifically like the kind of old rock and novelty stuff that clearly inspired the Cramps. This ain't it.
