Nice and small, and the sound quality is decent. It can sustain a charge so it doesn't need to be plugged into the wall to work. My main issue is that when I turn on the Bluetooth feature (to play music from my phone without a cord), it yells "BLUETOOTH MODE" really loudly! xP
So my speaker is either defective OR the design/quality are so poor that it might as well be defective (I'm guessing the latter). I was able to get sound out of it, but only after a ton of tinkering, guessing at what the gibberish instructions said, and looking online.
- The Bluetooth paired with my MP3 player, but every time I hit "play" on a song, the Bluetooth connection would drop. And I mean every. single. time. So it's worthless as a wireless speaker. - There's supposedly an LED that indicates when charging is complete, but I pushed every button on the thing and all the LED's do is flash and cycle through colors. - The instructions that come with it are laughably bad.
- The AUX cord functions, so technically it does work as a speaker (was able to play a song from my MP3 player via the AUX cord and the speaker worked).
When I first bought it, which was about a month ago, I charged it up and the battery lasted for about an hour or so. After that I can’t get it to hold a charge, even after leaving it on the charger for nearly an hour. It will play for about five minutes, maybe ten and then say power off and stop playing my music but the lights will stay on for hours after if I don’t actually turn the switch off. Very disappointed.
Battery doesn’t seem to last very long. And it’s confusing figuring out how to turn the volume up. When it first comes on it’s very loud when it says Bluetooth on. The flashing color doesn’t seem to be working on part of it. Seems to work ok otherwise. It’ll serve the purpose until I can get another nicer one.
It's a POS. Bought in February. It's now May. It won't work for more than 10 minutes. Do not buy!
It's little but it's pretty loud. However, the charge does not last as long as it says. But it's still good
***Update*** I purchase the end of February. It's now the end of April. I used to be able to play it in morning for about 20 minutes a day for 4 days without having to recharge it. I'm now lucky if it lasts 2 days. The Music Stops but the light on it still goes. I would prefer the power goes to the speaker instead of the light.
This is a horrible speaker. It connects to my ipod very easily, but no sound comes out of the speaker. It seems to work fine in the FM setting, so if that's why you are buying it then I guess it works. If you want it to play music from your phone or ipod then run away!!!
Overall a great product! I got it for someone as a gift, and it came early and in perfect condition. They love the look of the speaker, and it works well. I got it rose gold, and it's a good, small size which keeps it easily portable. Even though it's small, it plays pretty loudly and clearly, with good sound quality. It's simple to use and connect with your phone, coming with instructions if you need (though it's fairly straight-forward). The minimum volume can be somewhat loud, though I don't find this an issue since you can choose to play directly from your phone if you don't want it to be very loud. It's definitely a great speaker especially for its price and I would recommend it to anyone!
I use this speaker to listen to podcasts from my phone while I drive. I've been using it several hours a day for a few weeks now. It works well for that purpose, with the following caveats: 1) I find the edges of the speaker uncomfortable to handle. Not quite sharp, but not smooth enough, either. 2) The sound quality is okay at low pitch (men's voices), but distorts more at high pitches (women's voices). 3) The charging cord that came with the speaker failed very quickly. Fortunately, it's a regular micro usb cord, and I have plenty of those. 4) The tone when you turn it on is very loud and doesn't seem to be something you can turn down. That said, for the price I paid, I'm satisfied that it was totally worth it.
