I work in IT: Do not buy this product. Terrible Router and Terrible support

I bought this product in March 2020 and have tried for almost 10 months to get it working reliably. Although i have tried to work with (useless) support team members and multiple firmware and configuration setups, i have never been able to get it working correctly. I am now giving up and throwing the (very expensive paper-weight) in the trash.
I have owned, installed and configured dozens of Routers over the last 20 years, in both homes and small business setups. I know what i'm doing. I can honestly say, no other router i have ever used has been so flakey with constant drop-outs and pairing issues and no other company has had such terrible customer service or technical support.
After months of back and forth with support, their conclusion to the matter was summarised as follows:
"Yes. I agree your product does not work, but sending you a new device will not solve anything. Our solution is for you to not use the product at the moment and wait to see if our engineers release a new Beta firmware that might fix the router and satellite. Others have reported a similar issue, so it should not take our engineers more than a few months to come up with a fix."
At that point i requested customer service give me refund or different model. They of course flipped me off and promptly closed the ticket saying there's nothing they can do.
I will never buy or recommend Netgear products again. I strongly suggest everyone else steer clear of them.
